Confidence Booster Event
The effect that martial arts has on a child’s (or adult’s!) confidence levels has been well studied for many years. In fact, between the years of 2006 and 2021, more than 160 separate studies were done on the benefits of martial arts on children.
These studies have been examined and peer reviewed in the last few years, and the biggest conclusion that was drawn is that not only does taking part in a martial arts program provide benefits of physical fitness and promoting personal responsibility, it also has a big impact on a child’s self esteem. Children that take part in martial arts feel better about themselves. They learn self respect as well as respect for others, and you can watch the transformation happen right from the start. Kids in martial arts also learn how to focus better, with an increase in alertness and attention span, which in turn makes them perform better in school, boosting confidence even more.
We believe that the confidence your child will find in martial arts is so transformative that we’re offering a free community event on August 4th from 7 to 8pm to help boost your child’s confidence and help get them ready for the upcoming school year. This one-hour event is designed to get your child feeling good about themselves so they’re ready to tackle the upcoming school year.
While this event is free, we do have limited space available. If you’re ready to see your child get ready to succeed, click the link below to sign up.
